General Terms and Conditions
LookBnB,com (“Site”) is a venue where Guests and Hosts meet, it is meant to act and operate as a marketplace to connect Guests who are looking to book a variety of accommodations from Hosts who have listed their accommodation offerings on LookBnB.com. As such, LookBnB is not, and does not become, party to any contractual relationship between the Guest and the Host.
All information published on LookBnB serves as a guide only and is subject to change without notice. LookBnB cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of information provided by the individual establishments and disclaims all liability for any loss, damage, injury or expense arising out of or in connection with the use of, or reliance on, this information.
Under no circumstances shall LookBnB, or any of its owners, suppliers, employees, directors, partners, affiliates or agents be held liable for any damage, whether incidental, direct, indirect, special or consequential damages, and including without limitation, lost revenues or lost profits arising from or in conjunction with the use or performance of the information on this server or the Internet generally.
Hosting Terms and Conditions
By registering on this Site as a Host, you agree to provide accurate and current information about yourself and your Property or Properties as prompted by the registration process and maintain and promptly update your online information to keep it accurate and current. All information provided must accurately portray the nature of your accommodation facilities and services.
To protect LookBnB users from fraudulent activities, all Listings are subject to verification. This may include the reviewing of account information available in the public domain (social media profiles, personal or company websites, or other vacation rental sites where applicable), a telephone call from a LookBnB representative or we may require a copy of a utility bill or Government issued ID.
All subscription packages are sold to run on a full twelve (12) month basis. The term starts on the date that the Advert(s) are listed live on the Site and expires one year thereafter. For example, if the Advert(s) are listed live on the Site on 1 February, the Advert(s) would expire on 31 January of the following year. If you renew your subscription package, or if your subscription package automatically renews, your adverts will remain online for the new subscription period.
All subscription packages shall automatically renew at the expiration of the then current term for an additional term of twelve (12) months, at the original subscription rate. You re-affirm and authorize us to charge your form of payment at the end of each subscription term for an additional term of the same duration as the initial term and at the same subscription rate for the same product or service. Should you NOT wish to renew your subscription package, send us a cancellation notice in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org before the end of the current subscription term.
Should you upgrade your subscription package while having a valid current subscription, all adverts current and new will run for a full twelve (12) months from the moment the new subscription is purchased. If for example, you have 1 current advert listed on the Site with a period of 3 months remaining on it’s subscription, and decide to list an additional property and purchase a new subscription package allowing for 3 adverts, the current advert as well as new adverts will run for a full twelve (12) months from the moment the new package is purchased.
Should you downgrade your subscription package while having a valid current subscription, all adverts will be paused and none will be live on the Site. You will have to login to the User dashboard, go to My Adverts and select the advert or adverts that you wish to continue to have live on the Site. All adverts or adverts will however run for a full twelve (12) months from the moment the new subscription is purchased.
If for any reason you wish to cancel your current subscription package, send us a cancellation notice in writing to email@example.com. In the case of a cancellation, however, no refund will be owed. If you sell your property and the new owner wishes to continue having the Advert(s) remain online, please contact us in writing at firstname.lastname@example.org, advising us of the ownership change and indicating the new owners contact details; the Adverts will continue to run to its full term.
Content and Photographs
All content submitted by Hosts are subject to review and approval by us in our sole discretion. We reserve the right to refuse to publish any content that we determine in our sole discretion to be unacceptable to us. However, we assume no duty to review content and we shall not have any liability for any loss or damage resulting from the design or positioning of the copy, properties, content and/or photographs or any change made to any content, photograph or copy submitted by any Host. We reserve the right to edit content submitted to the Site in a non-substantive manner solely to ensure that the content complies with our quality and content guidelines or formatting requirements. Hosts are responsible for reviewing and ensuring that any content displayed on the Site appears as the Host intended.
It is the Host’s responsibility to obtain any and all permissions required to use, post and grant the foregoing rights in all photographic and other material used in its listings. The Host warrants that it is the owner of the copyright in such material or is authorized by the owner thereof to grant to us the rights therein contained and agrees to provide any proof of such rights to us that we may request. Each Host further agrees that we may reproduce in whole or in part any photographic material supplied by such Host in the promotion of either such Host’s property or the Site.
If you make use of a live real-time booking engine, LookBnB may assume that the data is always accurate and up-to-date. If an issue arises because of out of date or inaccurate information you agree to assume liability.
